I had to do another layout for this challenge since I had to do one about my dad too! I love how my Dad when I was young was so willing to give of his time and teach me things...and it's because of that "gift" that I am who I am today...a woman who's not afraid to grab some power tools and get her hands dirty!
Journaling is hidden behind the photo and reads: "I never considered myself as a girly-girl and I owe that all to my Dad. Because he was willing and patient enough to take the time to show me how to work on electronics, how to use power tools and how to fix things on my own...that is why I am the person I am today...a regular Mrs. Fix-it who's not afraid to get her hands dirty....thanks Dad!!" Scripture I used for this layout comes from Proverbs 22:6..."Teach a child the way he (or she in this case) should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Picture by the way is of my Dad holding my youngest the day he was born which happened to also be my Dad's birthday. Thanks for looking!
