JOURNALING:
Every Sunday my parents would dress Todd & I up in our Sunday Best and off we would go to Sunday School. I was fascinated with the stories of characters like David & Noah. I would sit in rapt attention to hear the outcome of their tales. Singing Jesus Loves Me was the highlight of my week! On the way home I would recite all that I had learned to my parents or serenade them with a song. I thought since all this was new to me that it was new to them as well. My parents patiently listened to me retell the stories and even joined in on the chorus of the songs.
Fast forward 20 some years and now ~I~ am the parent listening to those same stories being retold by Meg & Jim. And I catch a glimpse of pure faith that only a child can have. But in reality we can all have the faith of a child, if we only Just Believe!
Bible Verse:
Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3
