Jim run track and set some amazing records.
I wish you could have seen
the magnificent people they have grown up to be.
But….
I know you were always there in spirit
Watching from the wings as Meg danced and got her well deserved curtain calls.
I know you were always there in spirit
Cheering from the sidelines as Jim won another race and earned another medal.
I know you are always there in the traits they inherited
In the color of Meg’s eyes and the nature of Jim’s build.
But still…l just wish….
