JOURNALING:
There is so much about my mom that I love. She loves people and life totally and unconditionally. She is also a source of constant love to her family. At times I have teased her about going thru life with rose colored glasses on, but in reality she just chooses to always see the inherent good in people and the positive aspects of life. She is always calling to see how we are doing and sending emails and ~care packages~ to Meg & Jim to let them know she is thinking of them. In addition, she has a great sense of humor. We have gotten in trouble MANY times because we have gotten the ~giggles~ at the wrong time and place. But most importantly, she is a woman of deep faith and devotion. Thru all she has been thru in her life, she knows God has a plan for her and she trusts Him completely.
So every time I look into the mirror, I try to visualize my mom staring back at me. If I could personify even half of her characteristics and qualities, I would consider myself to be VERY blessed indeed.
