I want to glorify Him in all I do. That's why I am determined to use my weight loss to inspire others. My body is a temple from the Lord.
I did not lose the weight because of how others saw me. I was very unhappy with myself. And my being unhappy with myself caused my relationship with Him to suffer. So I turned to the Lord and asked for His guidance, and then I joined Weight Watchers. I am blessed to be His child. And I am thankful for the success He has given me in the past. I know with His help, I can once again lose the weight I gained during my pregnancy with Cayden. Our son was born on April 27, 2006. I started back on WW in May 2006. A little too early if you want my honest opinion. My attempt to make it back to goal in 12 weeks did not happen. As a life time member, I had 12 weeks to lose my baby weight before I had to pay again. I gained 47 lbs with Cayden. I have been unable to
shake this weight. So, I took a break to focus on my family. In January 2008, I started attending meeting again. Iíve lost 5 lbs since
the beginning of the year. 5 lbs isnít much, but I'm not giving up.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with
your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
I am trying to stay positive. It is more important for me to lose weight
the healthy way than to lose it quickly. The Lord is my strength. He
will get me through this trialing time.
