I always thought the first week of college was getting to know new people. While other dorms were having BBQ’s and pool parties, your dorm decided to go skydiving. SKYDIVING??? I suppose there is no better way to get to know your new roommate than to listen to him scream at 25,000 feet. But this adventure was right up your alley and nothing would prevent you from experiencing it. Not even begging and pleading from your wuss of a mom. You signed your life away on all the release forms, strapped on your flight suit and stepped into that TEENY, TINY plane without a second thought. AUGH!!! The site of you free falling literally took my breath away and had me frantically praying….this is my baby, PLEASE let his parachute open… please let him land safe…please get him on the ground…NOW!! The site of your feet touching the ground was a true answer to prayer but you liked it soooo much that you wanted to do again. Ok, who IS this child?? He can’t be MY son!?!
