I was having a really hard time narrowing down just which verse to use for this challenge when Karma posted a thread about Birthday Bible Verses in the Faith Sisters Forum and this one just happens to be the one they listed for my birthday. How amazing is God’s timing? =)

JOURNALING:
I am known in my family as the world’s biggest wuss. I am scared of heights, tight enclosed places, crowds of people, big cities and don’t even get me started about my fear of flying! So when we gave Meg a trip to London and Liverpool for her college graduation present, I knew I had to overcome all these weaknesses and more. I survived the 10 hour flight, riding the London Eye, traveling on the tube and exploring the city on foot, but it was not something I accomplished on my own. I was constantly praying and asking God for His power to overcome all these fears. And with His infinite grace, my prayers were answered and to this day Meg still talks about our trip as THE one she has ever taken.
