Ascending to the top of this mountain to worship under the cross was a breathtaking experience. Sadly by the time I graduated they were forced to stop having the sunrise service due to injuries and lawsuits…so very sad =( But at least I have the pictures to remember it by. These are from 1974 when I was a freshman in college. Can you pick Michael & I out in the smaller picture? I am the cute one standing on the left and Michael is the stud muffin with the long hair directly under the cross. =)

JOURNALING:
When I was in college, every year on Easter we would hike to the top of Mt. Rubidoux for the Easter sunrise service. What a truly spiritual experience it was to walk along with friends and total strangers all with the same goal; to worship our risen Lord.
