JOURNALING:
Meg waited almost 2 years before finally getting assigned to a classroom of her own. Through the endless waiting and the continuous interviews and constant prayer, her dedication to teaching and her devotion to children kept her faithful that her dream would be fulfilled. God answered her prayer with a teaching position in her very own neighborhood and she became a 6th grade teacher at Euclid Elementary School. Meg’s first year of teaching has been a growing experience. She has put so much of herself into her classroom and given so much of herself to her children. But being a teacher with no tenure and only one year of actual classroom experience has its disadvantages and last week Meg got her pink slip. Once again her name will be put on a waiting list as the schools decide how many teachers they need and what positions they will fill. But Meg is totally optimistic. In reality she would take any teaching job, but she is clinging to God’s promise and her answer to prayer that she is where she is supposed to be and God will find her a teaching position in her current school. Just like the lesson plans she makes for her classroom every day, God has a lesson plan for her life as well and she is faithful and confident that He will provide.

What a great testimony for your daughter...prayers to your daughter during this time. God's plans are always perfect and it sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders.
