For Mrs Wresh Challenge Week#5 (trials)
Journaling reads: One of the biggest trials in my life so far has turned out to be one of the biggest blessings. About May 20th of 2004 I found out my mom was pregnant. This was very hard news for me to hear and be happy about since Daniel and I had been trying to start a family for quite some time. It didn’t really bother me when friends of mine were getting pregnant but it hit me hard that my mom of all people was! She already had 4 children and she was at a stage in her life where a new baby was not part of the plan. It seemed so unfair! She cried when she told me. She said, “God must’ve gotten us confused - I’ve been praying for YOU to get pregnant!” About the time I started getting used to the idea of having a baby sister (26 years younger than me!) something miraculous happened.... I found out I was pregnant! I had a very unique blessing - I was able to experience being pregnant at the same time as my mom. We’ve always been very close and this was yet another shared bond. My baby sister, Katie, and my son, Ryan, are only 4 months apart. I was there for her when she gave birth and she was there for me. Katie & Ryan also share a very close bond.
