I love my life, that I know Jesus as my savior, that I am married to my best friend, that I am so totally blessed with 7 healthy active children…….and that we can spend every day learning about our God together and growing closer to Him. And now another blessing is coming….I thought maybe Caleb would be the last one and I was sad about that. So much of my identity and who I am is wrapped up in my children. We have had a baby in the house for the last 14 years………above all else I am Mom. I began thinking about what I would do if God decided this was enough……but we are being blessed again, this is what I prayed for, another little one to raise for Gods glory. Yes, I am tired at times and wonder if I can keep up with everyone but that is what this is all about. It is not about me and my needs but about God and His plan for my life and the life of these children. For these are His children lent to me for a time to raise and enjoy. And yet it is about me……because through these children God is shaping and molding me into the person He wants me to become. For it is only by calling on God and His strength that I can do what He has asked me. So yes I love my life and I am so thankful to God for all of it!
