Two weeks ago when the word was wait,I was amazed. That was when my mother was so ill and we could do nothing but wait. My mother passed away this last Saturday night, peacfully, in her sleep. And once again, the word was one that fit the occassion. Peace. She is at peace with her Lord and the family and friends that went on before her. Those of us left behind will be at peace in the weeks to come. "It Is Well" is my favorite hymn and I know truly that IT IS WELL!

Thanks for sharing your story about your mother. This hymn came to my mind as I sat to do my art but with using just the ATC size I decided not to use the song. The scene is so beautiful in your beautiful layout.

Thank you for a special reminder of love and peace. May the LORD of Peace give you the same, this day and always.

Isn't it amazing how we can feel such a sense of peace even when our hearts are grieving. I lost my father seven years ago tomorrow. I understand your loss. But I also understand that feeling of peace when we realize that our loved ones will be with us again one day. Beautiful layout! My prayers to you and your family as you go through this most difficult time.
