About Julie:

I'm Julie Klaus, you may know me as JulieMarie on the scrapbooking boards. My husband and I are blessed with 2 daughters, Tasha who is 16 and Melanie who is almost 3. We have 2 yellow labs and several chickens. We are lucky to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Minnesota and lived in Wisconsin for several years. My other hobbies are photography, reading & cooking. I also love quilting, but don't seem to find the time. As a family we enjoy the outdoors by hiking & fishing.

I was a web designer for 9 years until my youngest was born. With a background in photoshop, designing seemed natural to me. I always thought scrapbooking looked fun, but thought it would be an expensive hobby so I should stick to quilting. That didn't last... I started paper scrapping in 2004 after receiving scrapbooking stuff for Christmas, and I went digital in 2006. I also tried to resist digital because I felt I spent enough time on the computer for work! I continue to do both paper & digital, and I also do hybrid stuff.
