I am a 4th generation native California living in the lovely beach community of Encinitas. By profession, I work part-time as a Clinical Microbiologist, by passion I am a full time crafter. Growing up I always had some ongoing craft or scrapbook project. My brother still thanks me for saving all of his old school newspaper articles about his football playing days =) But I suppose you could say I ~officially~ started scrapbooking in 1992 when I attended my first Creative Memories party. I normally scrapbook 12 x12 layouts. No, I am not stuck in a rut, it's just what works for me =)~ I love the texture of the cardstock and the shine of the embellishments while designing and creating a layout. Yummy~! =) And tho I do tend to stick to the scrapbooking style that seems to work for me, I have been known to ~step outside the box~ and try new things, which most recently has been in the area of digital scrapbooking. My layouts are humorous but at the same time, thought provoking. I tend to use memorabilia on my layouts, anything from church programs to the staples removed from my sons head =) And tho embellishments are nice, the heart of my scrapbooking layouts is in the stories they tell and the emotions they evoke.

I have been married to my best friend Michael for almost 32 years. He is an attorney…but don't hold that against him =) We have two children who are my constant source of scrapbooking inspiration. Meg is 29 and has been married to her best friend Jeff for 5 years. They live in Pomona and she is a full time elementary school teacher and a part time ballet teacher. Jim is 26 and last year got married to his best friend Cassie, notice a trend? =) They live in Tucson, AZ where he is a full time engineer and a part time roller coaster enthusiast. I also love to travel, read walk along the shore and hang out in my garden with my gnomes =)

Thank you for this amazing and humbling opportunity to be on the Faith Sister Challenge Creative Team. I hope that by continuing to preserve my family memories and sharing my faith thru scrapbooking, I can inspire others to do the same Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God, will come to know God because they know you.
