About Dahlia:
I’m from sunny California, although where I live in Pacifica, just a skip, hop, and a jump away from San Francisco, we get a lot of cool breezes and sometimes heavy fog since the ocean is like my backyard. I’m blessed to be married to a wonderful man of God and also grateful that I can be a SAHM to two toddler boys! You’ll find most of my work is inspired by my family but, I also love to cherish memories about everyday life. Life is a journey and in this journey there are moments whether big or small that make up who we are. Like they say, it’s all in the details!
Growing up, I always loved art and believed that one day I would become an artist. Painting, drawing, collecting stickers and rubber stamps from the Hello Kitty store, and taking pictures were some of my favorite childhood obsessions. I also loved writing in journals as a way to express my thoughts and feelings as I grew up and now have over 15 journals and counting. When I discovered scrapbooking, it was the perfect way to combine all of those things I loved to do and allowed me to share my creativity with others. But, it wasn’t until I joined a direct sales company selling scrapbooking products that taught me the importance of photo preservation and leaving a legacy behind for my loved ones. After I got married and started a family, I realized even more that scrapbooking is not only my passion but, my life! I’ve been scrapbooking for almost 5 years now and still loving it! If I can’t scrapbook or design something, I go through withdrawals just like when I don’t have coffee every morning (another one of my addictions!). Most of my work is digital but, I still love my paper supplies and occasionally scrap with them especially when it comes to making cards and other altered projects.
It is such an honor and privilege to be part of Faith Sisters creative team! I know that the Lord has led me here and I can’t be thankful enough! In whatever I do, I only want to bless and inspire you, but most of all to be a vessel of love and creativity for Jesus.
