About
Cheryl:
I started scrapbooking in 1996 before my daughter was
born, but really became serious about the hobby in 2002 when I made
an album for my father’s 50th birthday. Over the next few years,
I would, like most scrappers I know, amass quite a collection of tools
and supplies.
For Christmas 2006, I received my digital software that I thought I
would be using to enhance my photos. I dabbled with the program for
months, and in August 2007, just jumped right into digital scrapping.
I have a toddler at home, and digital scrapping gave me the freedom
to continue to scrap when I could find a few minutes during the day
as well as keeping him safe from scissors and glue.
I found the Faith Sisters site in November 2007, and immediately felt
at home. I love being able to share a common craft, and being able to
connect and encourage my fellow sisters in Christ.
I have been married to my wonderful and caring husband for 14 years,
and we have been blessed with two children. I am a native Floridian,
and I reside in Northwest Florida surrounded by a lifetime of friends
and lots of family members. I love to do anything creative – painting,
drawing, flower arranging, home decorating, cross stitching. I am also
extremely passionate about reading. My goal each year is to read at
least one novel a week (but I have to admit, it’s been a hard
goal since I started digi scrapping).
